Luzon-Mindanao Bus Tickets

If anyone wondered what a Luzon bus ticket looks like. Here is an example taken when I was traveling north to Dau, Pampanga to buy myself some military equipment.

They have somewhat a different approach compared to a Mindanao bus conductor I am used to. The practice is different because you have more information out of your ticket; the ticket entails time, date, and the bus number.

As a comparison to what I am actually saying, here is a photo of a Rural Transit Mindanao bus ticket.

The Summit

Mountain Biking is a booming sport/hobby here in Bukidnon, where cross country races are being held once or twice a year with different sponsors. Of all Bukidnon's biking population, most if not all have participated in the said competitions. Mountain bikes are common here since our roads are yet to be developed taking advantage of the different technologies offered today. While on the other side of the coin, road bikes are not far behind.

One route usually taken by these cycling enthusiasts is "The Summit",which is known for its steep gradient of the road going to Cabanglasan, a fourth class municipality of Bukidnon and it passes through several barangays from the city proper of Malaybalay. "The Summit" is a training ground for beginners and veterans alike, but for those who bike in a leisurely pace the scenery is breathtaking (I'm not sure if the scenery took my breath away or the roads going there)

SNAPSHOTS | Descending from Mt. Kalatungan

I was actually descending 2880 meters above sea level from the summit of Mt. Kalatungan when I took this photo overlooking Southern Mindanao towards another view of a mountain in Cotabato.
Mt Kalatungan
During this time, our clothes were beginning to get soaked with rain water as the sky came down pouring. Yet for a moment of time, I was able to take a justifying photo of how beautiful this mountain can be.

Nagduaw ako sa Mt. Kalatungan, Pangantucan, Bukidnon.
